DriveSmart Program gives a summary of the health of the hard drive. May alert to imminent failure. We have a lot of older machines on which I am using it. It runs in the background and does not seem to bog down the processor. It does not explain the attributes it monitors.

An error. It is a good product, I like it. But I found an error of this program: I set enable critical temperature warning at 40C. But when my computer was 43C, I did not get warning message. Is this a bug in software? Thank you. Matthew.

Cool Little App, Great to come across a little app that can help me monitor my drives. Suggestion When the temperature threshold is crossed, there needs to be more of a notification, maybe change the systray icon color to red, or add an exclamation point, or something.

There are many programs out there that promise the world. Spotmau is notorious for saying its products can do things that no software aps can do, for example boot *ANY* hard drive, fix any partition and so forth, and they offer 90 day money back guarantee. Doesn`t work with ntfs. This program doesn't work with ntfs, so I could not test it.

Opinion I used the trial version. It transfered the partitions in fast time. No problems. If you are transfering disks from laptops, you may need to have AC power to your external hard disk, so when you reboot to start the transfer, the programs do not loose site of the external disk.

NTFS file system is better than FAT32 NTFS is better than FAT32.I prefer to format my external hard drive as NTFS then I don't use your product now untill it supports NTFS file system.
